Harry Knickerbocker

He served with distinction in the 1st Battalion, 9th Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division in Vietnam during 1965 and 1966. After his military service, he became a photo-journalist in North Carolina in the late sixties and early seventies. He later explored painting before shifting focus to academics, earning multiple degrees in Economics and Statistics. He taught Economics at the college level for several years and sailed offshore to various foreign ports during his free time. Retiring from teaching in 2006, he continues to live on a sailboat.
